I purchased this in combination of good price, good review, and appearance. I have a diverter with a shower massage handheld so I was looking for a showerhead that was single use but excellent quality.
This is the best showerhead ever, so much that I rarely use my shower massage anymore. It’s like a tropical rainstorm. Warm and wet all over. The head makes the water swirl as it comes out of the jet holes and this causes the water to come down in a rather random pattern that is unlike any of the standard stream showerheads. The result is soft and gentle but really gets wet all over. Rinsing long hair is a breeze and takes 1/3 the time it took before.
It is so good I am amazed. (Of course, I did remove the restrictor, but I always do anyway.)

I bought this to replace a hand-held showerhead that just did not deliver enough water. Per the other reviews, I removed the flow-reducer as soon as I got the new showerhead. The reducer was an obvious piece of white plastic threaded into the connector. It took about five seconds.
I installed it as a surprise for my wife, and the first morning she used it, she came out and told me that it was the best present I have EVER given her. This, of course, made me very happy that she enjoyed it, but it also put all the other cool presents from the past in perspective (jewelry, cameras, etc.), so she may come to regret that statement. A couple days later, the opinion was underscored when she came out of the shower with a smaile on her face and told me that the new showerhead was the only thing that got her out of bed that morning. So I guess it is safe to say that the showerhead is AWESOME to the typical end user. In particular, she likes the spray pattern that thoroughly soaks her and keeps her warm, with perfect spray pressure.
As an enjoying (if somewhat less ecstatic) user of the shower head, I can tell you that I am glad I removed the flow reducer. I cannot possibly imagine that the showerhead delivers enough water with the reducer installed – it just has too many outlets. Even then, the flow from the top of the showerhead is obviously less than the flow at the bottom, and I have good water pressure and flow availability to my house.
The showerhead itself is attractive, very heavy and substantial with what appears to be a good thick coat of chrome.
I would take away a half-star for the flow-reducer modification, but apart from that, it is an excellent device.
